  • What does pre-approval mean?
  • By providing us with a few simple answers to our questions, it will allow us to determine your eligibility. This is a fast and easy way to determine early on your chances of securing a loan.

    Statistically speaking, if you’ve been Pre-Approved your chances of securing a loan with us is over 89%! Those chances are looking pretty good! Our Pre-Approval process does not require us to undertake credit checks until you really commit, meaning Pre-Approval is obligation free.

  • How can I apply for a loan?
  • It’s actually really easy, we’ve simplified this process into 3 steps.

    1. Complete the online Pre-Approval form.

    2. Upload basic documents such as ID and Payslips .

    3. Check your bank account for the money.

  • How do I know if I am eligible?
  • The easiest way to find out if you’re eligible is to fill out our Pre-Approval form, you’ll have a good idea of eligibility within minutes.

    Our criteria is made up of a few factors, this includes:

    - Sufficient Income to meet repayments

    - A credit history that is not too bad, it doesn’t have to be perfect either

    - Own a Car / Property

    If you’re still sitting on the fence, head to our Pre-Approval form and answer a few questions and we’ll determine your eligibility for you at the end.

  • What is the maximum amount I can borrow?
  • The amount you’re eligible to borrow is determined by a combination of factors, a general guide is provided once you have been Pre-Approved. If you’re simply curious, fill out the Pre-Approval form and we’ll indicate a loan range you’ll be eligible for.

  • Can I do anything to make the loan process faster?
  • We have a team of specialists working as fast as they can to process your application. You can get started by completing our Pre-Approval form, and make sure the docuements you provided are correct and clear to read.

  • How can I increase my chances of loan approval?
  • To increase your chances of securing a loan, make sure all the information provided is accurate and bundled with the necessary document.

Interest Rates and Repayments

  • How does the loan repayment work?
  • We provide easy repayments options that will suit your needs. Provide us with an indication of your comfortable repayment amounts, and we can surely provide you with a repayment schedule.

  • What is the interest rate?
  • Our interest rate is independent to each applicant based on their criteria and our risk assessment. Once we have completed our Final Verification, you will be given a competitive interest rate to consider.

  • If I want to pay out my loan early, do I save interest?
  • You most certainly do; the faster you can pay-off the loan the more interest you save!

  • Would the credit check be listed on my file?
  • We are committed to uphold our values as a responsible lender. In compliance with the law, we undertake credit check to ensure you are able to meet your financial obligation.

    However, rest assure that there is no credit check if you decided not to proceed with Pre-Approval.

  • Where can I direct my loan account queries?
  • For an existing loan account service, please complete a Loan Request Form.

  • Can I top-up my loan?
  • To be eligible for a top-up, typically you would need to pay-off at least 50% of your loan. Please email the amount you wish to top-up to Loans@MaxFinance.com.au for a prompt reply.

  • Can I re-loan?
  • We would be delighted to serve our existing clients again. Please update your details with our fast 5 minute application.

Security & Privacy

  • How is my personal information protected?
  • We go to great lengths to protect your privacy. Our data collection and storing process has been designed to prevent unauthorised third parties and associated companies from accessing your information. For more information, refer to the Privacy Act (1988).

  • Why do I have to provide my online bank login information?
  • Providing your login details will streamline the application process, ensuring that we can access a strictly ready-only copy of your bank statements and allow the verification process to be completed more efficiently.

  • How is providing my details online safe and secure?
  • We use a special 128 bit encryption method to ensure the safety and privacy of your information. Your username and password is never visible to us throughout the entire process. The technology is simply retrieve a copy of your bank transactions over the last 3 months.

  • What information does Max Finance receive when I login with my bank account?
  • The purpose of logging in to your online bank account allows us to efficiently review your recent bank statements for verification. We do not collect bank username and passwords nor do we see this information. We are committed to providing a fast and efficient service for your convenience.

  • Will anyone be logging into my bank account?
  • Your bank account is never accessed by any humans. Providing your login details simply enables an automatic retrieval system for your bank transactions.

    Once the statements are retrieved, your login information cannot be accessed again. We will not be able to make any changes or transactions on your account.
